BRAND STORY

Walton & Mortimer was born from a fascination with elegance, the kind that doesn’t chase attention but commands it. What began as a sketch on a train through the Alps became a relentless pursuit: to create eyewear that could carry the weight of a legacy, even if that legacy was still being written.


We started small, with a few prototypes built in a family-owned workshop in the Netherlands. But our vision was never small. We faced what every dreamer does; doubt, delays, and disbelief. People said the world didn’t need another eyewear brand. They were right. It needed something rarer.


It needed frames that felt like artifacts. That belonged in Bond’s glove compartment or on a terrace in Ravello. It needed precision, presence, and poetry in black, gold, and glass. 
Today, Walton & Mortimer stands for more than eyewear. It’s a symbol of ambition made real, of design without compromise, of style that speaks first.
